Synchronisation of Data
Synchronisation of data between an unlimited number of PDA’s is achievable as the application is able to work in offline mode. Offline mode is where the unit can be used without the need for an Internet connection. This may be for a matter of minutes or weeks at a time. When desired and an internet connection is available, you are able to connect to a central web server for your organisation and upload your assessments.
In simple terms, all data is stored in a central location on the Internet so it is accessible anywhere in the world, anytime.
Assign Photos to Assessments
Using the latest in mobile PDA technology, with the release of integrated cameras, you are now able to take photos of the item of plant and assign them to the unit being assessed. This allows for images to be viewed on the Internet of the item that was assessed. If a photo was not able to be taken at time of the assessment, these can be simply uploaded via the web at a later date and assigned to the relevant unit.
Mobile PDF Reporting, Printing and Emailing
When used in conjunction with an enabled Windows Mobile 5.0 device, the Plant Safety Manager© enables for the generation of a PDF report within seconds after the completion of the assessment, whether you are at your premises or on site. Once generated, this PDF can then be printed or emailed without the need for a computer or external power source with the appropriate hardware.
Web Based Management
Although assessments are done using a PDA, they are accessible to be viewed via the Internet. In this management you are able to:
