Deployment

Once a customer has purchased the application, RMSS provides a deployment service that is designed to configure, test and rollout the application into the customers’ site(s).

The Deployment services are typically delivered in the following 5 phases to customers:

1. Discovery

The purpose of this phase is to gather all relevant customer data to develop an understanding of the detailed configuration of the application to meet the client requirements. The typical tasks involved are:

  • An initial Discovery Workshop.
  • Gathering and reviewing customer data.
  • Agreeing to the deployment schedule, resource requirements and client commitments to meet the schedule.

2. Data Analysis and Application Configuration

The purpose of this phase is to analyse the data collected and commence configuration of the application to meet your requirements. Typical tasks involved are:

  • Data analysis and data gap identification.
  • Refinement of deployment schedule.
  • Development of client test scenarios.
  • Training needs analysis.

3. Testing and Training

The purpose of this phase is to test the configured application to ensure that it meets your requirements, and to train agreed stakeholders in its use. We perform internal testing using our deployment team, then train your key users to perform your own testing.

4. Rollout

The purpose of this phase is to deploy the production version of the application to your organisation.

5. Client Support Transition

Once you have a configured and tested application that has gone live in your organisation, we then transition you to our customer service team for ongoing help and maintenance of your application.

RMSS offers a diverse range of training methods that can be tailored to meet your needs, including:

Instructor-Led Training Session – The Instructor-Led Training Sessions are designed to provide customers with formal face to face training on the RMSS Application suite. These sessions can be conducted either at the customer or RMSS site, and can be run for a half day or full day session/s based on customer need. RMSS offers two different types of training sessions. The first is designed to train users on how to operate the system and the second is designed to provide System Administrators with the skills to administer the system.

Web-based training - RMSS can deliver the training to remote users via web-conferencing, text chat, audio, video, document and application sharing. Typically these sessions are delivered as initial induction or refresher training, or for remote customers.

Documentation – RMSS also provides Administration, User and Technical training manuals, designed to assist with the use of the application. The manuals are provided in hard copy or electronically .

Context sensitive help and tooltip – The RMSS Application suite has been designed with context sensitive help and tool tips to assist users while they are using the application.

Additionally all training is carried out by RMSS’s qualified training consultants who are competent in all areas of the application.
