For a third consecutive year, RMSS has confirmed its involvement as a Platinum Sponsor of the Risk Management Institution of Australia’s (RMIA) Annual Conference in Sydney from 21 – 24 November 2010.

This year's Conference will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the heart of the vibrant Darling Harbour.

The Annual Conference themed “Risk Management Excellence: Better, Faster, Smarter” provides an opportunity for risk professionals to contribute to the growth and development of risk management throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Key topics to be addressed at this year’s Conference include capital and financial management; embedding risk into organisational behaviour and culture, governance, compliance and risk management.

 

RMIA and RMSS Risk Management Survey

RMSS conducted a Risk Management survey at the 6th Annual RMIA Conference held in Cairns on 22-25 November 2009. The survey was based on responses from attendees of the RMIA’s annual conference covering a broad range of industries such as: Government, Utilities, Financial Services, Logistics, Transport and Ports.

RMIA and RMSS will again be conducting the survey at the 2010 Conference and will provide valuable year-on-year comparative data. All delegates are invited to participate in the Risk Management Survey 2010.

RMIA 2010 Welcome Reception

On the eve of the Conference, RMSS will host the RMIA 2010 Welcome Reception. Themed ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’, the Welcome Reception will be held at Waterfront Restaurant, The Rocks, Sydney.
